The Finance Analyst will be exposed to all areas of Finance, but will primarily sit in the Fund Accounting team:
Working with the Investment and Execution (Legal) teams to remain fully informed on deal progress, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet investment costs and expenses, whilst maximising returns to investors.
Collaborating with multiple external parties to execute FX trades, loan drawdowns, repayments etc. In order to do this effectively it is important to fully understand the FX/hedging and leverage strategy.
Delivering regular reporting packs to senior management. This includes cash reconciliations, material movements and a review of investments that have been made by the funds (as well as deals in the pipeline).
Working alongside our Fund Administrators to maximise investor returns by timing capital calls and distributions to investors appropriately. This work involves aggregating the current and future cash positions of the funds to calculate the optimum amount to call or distribute and then verifying the figures provided by the Fund Admin. Partnering with our Investor Relations team in the preparation of materials which summarise the position of the funds for Investors.
Working with our Fund Administrators to produce accurate, complete quarterly accounts which reflect recent deal activity and any appropriate changes in presentational requirements.
Working with Auditors/Investment Teams/across Finance to ensure provision of information and accurate delivery of our annual audited accounts.
Working with the Execution (Legal) teams to understand, set up and monitor structures, with particular emphasis in the APAC region.
You could also be involved in designing process improvements and efficiencies,project work or initiatives requiring cross firm collaboration.
As a Finance Analyst you will work closely within Finance's 30 strong, collaborative, and mutually supportive team).

This is a high-profile role and will provide a top-performing candidate with the opportunity to gain general private equity industry knowledge, as well as experience across the full spectrum of Finance, and other functions within our firm.
Prior working experience within finance function of a private equity secondaries fund is a must
Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) – 4-6yrs PQE
Masters level education in Real Estate
Working knowledge of Chinese RE market and regulatory environment
Strong organisational and motivational skills, with excellent attention to detail
Strong MS Excel
Familiarity with senior stakeholder interaction
Knowledge of company valuation approaches
Experience working alongside Administrators/third party providers
A level Maths, grade A or above
2:1 degree or higher
First time passes in professional qualification
Strong written skills
Excellent communication and people skills, to create, develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities within deadlines
