You have excellent attention to detail, are organised and are eager to learn. You have strong data management skills and the ability to prioritise workload. You enjoy looking at existing efficiencies and recommending changes to align with business needs.
You will be splitting your time between two organizations, where you will be responsible for providing financial expertise, support and oversight to assist with achieving key objectives. You will guide management on financial-related matters and decisions whilst managing daily financial inquiries. You will also be responsible for all day to day finance activities, managing gross income, customer and supplier accounts with terms, and the processing of payroll.
Your responsibilities will include but, are not limited to:
Accounts receivables - Collect and record customer payments, accurate invoicing, maintain customer account records, conduct credit checks, process returns & credits
Accounts payable – Verifying and entering vendor bills, maintaining vendor records, checking supplier statements and organizing bill payments and filing
Working with Division Managers on monthly/yearly budgets
Review plan adjustments as needed throughout the year
Organization and maintenance of asset and material register
Looking after office supplies and stationary
Working with the Head Office Finance Manager on budget control and working capital maintenance
Assist in management reporting and the compliance & statutory accounting for the business
Assist in preparation of tax returns, insurance renewals and 1099 filing
Processing payroll and managing employee benefit
Daily and period end reconciliations - Balance sheet accounts reconciliation
Treasury and management of the banking functions - Managing liquidity and building relationships with banks
Your application will have an advantage if:
College degree - Bachelor in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
You have at least three years’ experience in finance management
Previous experience with P&L Analysis
Experience with NetSuite (or a similar ERP system)
Experience in handling multi-subsidiary or inter-company accounts
You have advanced Excel, data management and Microsoft Word skills
You are professional and efficient
You will be trained on a one-on-one basis and will be given the tools needed to carry out the above-mentioned responsibilities.
