The Office of Technology Development (OTD) supports faculty in obtaining patents, making industry contacts, completing license agreements, and fostering collaborations beyond campus, as well as in commercial development and providing expertise in matters of intellectual property protection, licensing of intellectual property rights, and providing guidance for starting a new company. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Director of Finance and Administration is responsible for managing financial and administration operations of OTD, including Budget, Human Resources, Payroll, IT, Purchasing, and Facilities. This includes financial management of operations, patent and royalty budgets. Responsible for the financial administration of seed funding programs and other faculty support programs. Responsible for design, implementation and coordination of meetings and special events. Supervises administrative staff and students.
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred. Five to eight years' work experience.
