The Director of Finance is responsible for the development, oversight and management of Neighborhood Health Centers (NHC) accounting and financial functions and activities, and the development and implementation of financial controls, separation of duties, policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance to generally acceptable accounting principles, reporting and tax requirements, and grant provisions. This position monitors the progress and results of department goals, while engaging in cross-functional actions to improve the effectiveness of financial reporting at NHC. The Director of Finance oversees the work of the Accounting Manager, indirectly supervising a team of Accountants, Budget & Grants Analyst and Payroll Specialist.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Active CPA license or equivalent.
7+ years progressively responsible financial management experience.
4+ of those years in a management level role, with supervisory experience.
Preferred: Healthcare and non-profit experience.
