The Events & Programming Manager assists the Director of Community Engagement in programming events for CitySpace and occasionally for other venues in the Greater Boston area. This person creates events that complement and fill in needed areas. S/He invites talent, designs format, and oversees all details. This person should have a familiarity with Bostons cultural, scientific and business sectors and a knowledge of events happening throughout the Greater Boston area. This person should be creative, energetic, and think outside-the-box to develop original content to attract new and diverse audiences. The position entails working some evening hours and occasionally a weekend. This person reports to Director of Community Engagement.
Bachelor's degree preferred with at least three to five years of related experience.
