Coordinates utilization of software applications for Financial Services. Maintains an expert understanding of departmental needs and challenges as well as an understanding of the capabilities offered in delivered software packages. Leads the strategic prioritization of system implementation initiatives. Oversees system issue resolution. Ensures thorough process and procedure documentation and manages/oversees test plans to ensure the effective performance of all financial systems.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems or related field.
Five years of financial systems related support experience.
PeopleSoft experience preferred.
Previous management experience preferred.
Requires system experience with an Enterprise AP and GL modules.
Experience with Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Inventory systems or modules are preferred.
Experience with Enterprise Payroll module and Automated Time and Attendance application preferred.
Ability to exercise judgment, ingenuity and common sense.
Requires advanced organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze and evaluate both user needs and business needs related to computer technology.
Software implementation and upgrade experience preferred.
Familiarity and experience with Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and other business analysis concepts and tools (i.e. risk assessments, business cases, feasibility studies and process mapping) preferred. Requires strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and organize time to meet projected target dates for project completion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with various system users, leadership and vendors.
