Responsible for managing Department of Surgery fiscal-related matters including budgeting, financial analysis, purchasing, payroll, gift and restricted activity as well as professional fee activity. Provides long and short range financial planning and analysis in complex funding environments: establishes and maintains complex financial control and reporting systems. Under the general direction of the Finance Manager, Administrator and Chair, incumbent is responsible for the operational budget control, financial management and faculty salary compensation in the following areas: Department of Surgery Divisions of CardioThoracic, Colorectal, Surgical Oncology, and Medical Education.
