We are looking for a Director of Finance to help us improve our financial platforms to effectively support program implementation.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO!
Supervise, manager and develop the organization’s finance team
Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, audited financials, and reports for government regulatory agencies
Develop and implement accounting procedures to ensure accuracy, timeliness, internal financial controls and operational efficiencies
Provide oversight of the external and internal compliance related to grant activity
WHAT ABOUT YOU?
Ideally, you will bring a wealth of experience managing people, finances and projects. We seek a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of managing teams to success and 7 years of accounting and/or finance experience. Does experience or knowledge with fund accounting in the nonprofit sector matter? Of course, it does… but don't be discouraged if you don't have it, but you know you have what it takes!
Proven financial management skills, including the ability to analyze, communicate and present financial data in a timely manner
The ability to influence and lead others in an ethical and professional manner
Track record of success in focusing on strategic objectives and translating the priorities into successful short and long-term results for the organization
Commitment to cultural sensitivity and respect for differences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
