Merck’s Financial Organization helps plan and analyze the resources that allow us to continue advancing medical innovation around the world. This team of attentive, exacting individuals prepares and organizes financial assets in order to drive Merck’s momentum towards providing the world with an evolving, diversified portfolio of prescription medicines, vaccines, and animal health products that fuel global wellness.
Finance MBA Interns will participate in a 10-week program focused on practical, hands on experience in a typical Finance role which may include analyzing acquisitions, divestitures, business strategies, product licensing proposals, and capital investments; forecasting, reporting, and analyzing operating results; operational risk management and process improvement consulting; managing capital structure, currency and other financial risks; or other roles in global support functions including procurement and global supplier management. In addition to practical experience, the intern program includes developmental opportunities and exposure to Senior Finance leadership including a closing project presentation.
This is a full- time Intern position. Housing subsidy is not available as part of this program and must be funded 100% by the student.
Education Minimum Requirement:
Currently enrolled in an MBA program with a concentration in Finance
Required Experience and Skills:
At least 2 years of professional work experience
Demonstrated academic excellence, analytical ability, leadership integrity and interpersonal skills
