Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience
Experience with GMAS, Advance, Harvard Financials (OBI)
Knowledge of GAAP accounting and FASB accounting standards
Knowledge of the distinctions between Non-Federal Grants, Federal Grants, Charitable Gifts, and Contracts
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and responsibility regarding information related to University business and confidential prospect information
Strong writing skills; ability to synthesize information correctly and concisely in written form
Attention to detail, highly organized, and thorough in completing assigned duties
Problem solver who can take initiative and set priorities while being flexible
Team-oriented strategist able to effectively manage complex situations involving numerous and sometimes competing constituencies, and also able to work independently
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point) and Share Point
Excellent customer relations skills, communication and follow through
