The Accounting & Finance Intern program is for students that have completed their first year in their respective Master’s program. As an Accounting/Finance Intern you will be provided with opportunities to develop an understanding of John Deere's products and services, establish a network of people to support personal and professional growth, and to gain experience in one or more of the following areas: Cost Management, Financial Analysis, Strategic Planning, Internal Audit, Supply Management, Tax and Treasury. Accounting Interns typically perform various professional accounting or finance assignments including coordinating, preparing, and analyzing financial information and reports.
The Accounting/Finance Development Program is for new or recent graduates. As an employee in our Accounting/Finance Development Program you will be provided with opportunities to develop an understanding of John Deere's products and services. Career development is a priority and this program includes rotational assignments and inter-unit transfers so that you have plenty of opportunities to learn about the company and move to different assignments in the future.
Full-time positions are also available within our Accounting and Finance function.
What will you do?
Prepare complex account reconciliations
Perform financial analysis in support of business counseling
Participate in budget forecasting to control spend
Record routine or recurring transactions
Makes necessary corrections and/or adjustments to receive accurate report information
Do you have what it takes?
Pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics or a related degree. Accounting degree preferred. other related degrees.
Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, 3.25 preferred.
We have internship and development program locations across the United States so you must be willing to relocate and travel domestically.
