The Finance and Administration Specialist provides specialized financial and administrative support for the Office of Residential Life, a $4 million auxiliary operation, ensuring that financial and administrative practices conform to University policies.The specialist develops and implements internal procedures and protocols and plays a leadership role in support of budget management and analysis. The incumbent works closely with theSenior Director of Residential Education and Operationssupports the Senior Directorregarding the articulation and implementation of financial and human resource policies and protocols. â‹
BA degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field and 2-3 years relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Strong financial and analytical skills
Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Ability to meet stringent deadlines and work under pressure
Flexible to change and interruptions, ability manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong computer aptitude for learning new software and problem solving
Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
