The School of Accounting, Finance, Information Systems and Business Law invites applications for a tenure track position in finance at the Assistant Professor level. Start date is negotiable (either January 2019 or August 2019). Preference will be given to those with experience teaching finance. A Ph.D. in finance or related field is required. Applicants who are ABD will be considered provided successful dissertation defense occurs prior to start date. Confirmation of defense date will be required. The normal teaching load is three courses (nine credit hours) per semester, with the possibility of some teaching responsibilities using on-line methodologies. The teaching load will include courses in corporate finance and financial planning. A commitment to active engagement with professionals in the regional business community is expected. Scholarship should pertain to the areas of teaching.
