The Boehly Center for Excellence in Finance was established to promote the study and practice of finance by students at the Mason School and across the undergraduate student body. We offer a wide variety of curricular and co-curricular programs designed to advance our students’ understanding of the principles and practice of finance and better prepare them for successful careers in finance and finance-related fields.
The Boehly Center seeks an energetic and dynamic individual to serve as the Associate Director, Strategic Engagement. This position serves as a key strategic relationship-builder for this flagship academic center in the Raymond A. Mason School of Business. The person in this position will interact with high-level university officials, faculty, alumni and corporate partners, focused on maintaining and managing existing stakeholder relationships as well as creating and fostering the growth of new relationships. This position is part of the senior leadership team of the Boehly Center, reporting directly to the Director(s) of the Center and working closely with other Boehly Center executives to develop and implement the strategic vision for the Center.
This position will be responsible for developing new and stronger relationships with various external constituencies critical to the mission of the Boehly Center and to the future success of our students, including alumni, industry professionals, corporate partners, and employers. This position will also require constructive collaboration with various internal constituencies with whom the Boehly Center works closely, including students, faculty, Advancement (Development and Alumni Relations), the Undergraduate Business Program office, and the Cohen Career Center.

Significant work experience in a relevant field such as corporate and employer relations, corporate HR or recruitment, or career development.
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of finance and the financial services industry, and/or demonstrated ability to quickly develop that knowledge and understanding through continuing education and on-the-job training.
Experience or demonstrated ability to build constructive personal and institutional relationships with various diverse internal and external constituencies.
Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to communicate clearly, accurately and persuasively, orally and in writing.
Ability and willingness to work constructively and collaboratively with other individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds, including international students, alumni and employers.
Demonstrated technical skills and proficient in Microsoft Office, database management platforms and data analysis.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
Demonstrated knowledge of global, industry-related college recruiting practices, trends, high growth market sectors, labor market issues, immigration and employment laws.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage and direct priorities.
