Our client, the U.S. arm of the leading global innovative manufacturing company is seeking their next Head of Finance. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience in a foreign owned company and will have assisted in strategy development for aggressive company growth.
The Vice President, Finance will have 6 direct reports that include Accounting/ Reporting, Credit, Control & Collection, Business Controller, Pricing, Internal Audit and Tax & Compliance and oversee a total staff complement of 29. The Vice President, Finance will have a dual reporting structure reporting directly to the President of the U.S. and on a matrixed indirect basis to the Regional Business Controller based internationally who in turn reports to the Global Chief Financial Officer. He/she will actively contribute as a member of the management team in order to achieve the objectives for the U.S. and will plan, organize and lead the finance function of the local U.S. organization, taking into account both Group and local requirements while safeguarding the company’s financial assets and ensuring the effective and efficient use of its resources. He/she will identify and provide corrective actions to potentially adverse situations, make recommendations, and present information to allow accurate decision making.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with MBA and/or a CPA preferred but not required.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience multi-regional P&Ls within R&D led manufacturing environments.
Broad leadership and managerial experience across the finance function.
Substantive experience in a $300 million + rapidly scaling environment.
Track record in mergers & acquisitions, all phases including due diligence and integration.
Experience working with a foreign-owned multi-national
Proven capacity of working in a matrixed-organization.
