Challenge yourself, your peers and our industry by shaping what health care looks like and doing your life's best work.(sm) The Executive Assistant will serve to support the sizable OptumInsight Finance and Accounting Team which is over 100 employees, including ~75 people in the Eden Prairie, MN location. A team of this size has significant administrative and support needs, including calendar support and meeting coordination for the leadership team; managing travel and expense reimbursements; on-boarding of new hires and interns, as well as providing necessary support for employee terminations / LOAs; and workplace technology needs/issues, among others. In addition to providing daily support to our business partners, our team provides timely financial and other critical information to the OptumInsight and Optum leadership teams, which requires the preparation and distribution of a significant number of reports and materials throughout the organization. We also plan, design and execute many time consuming but critical initiatives focused on our culture, employee engagement and communications (i.e. town halls, monthly newsletters, regular small group meetings, social responsibility events, etc.) that while materially driving employee engagement, in aggregate, strains the team in a cost-ineffective manner and creates a significant need for support. Primary Responsibilities:Internal communications including vital signs action planning, town halls, monthly newsletters and team-building activitiesTravel and calendar management for the leadership team, as well as other logistical planning activities Certain aspects of key financial report preparation, as well as distributionAll other BSL and typical administrative needs of a large team
Required Qualifications:Experience supporting C-suite level executivesExperience using Microsoft Office Word to create and edit documents from scratchExperience using Microsoft Office Excel to create spreadsheets from scratch, create and edit formulas, and manipulate expense reportsExperience using Microsoft PowerPoint to create and edit PowerPoint decks to utilize in executive and staff meetingsExperience using Microsoft Outlook for email management and complex calendar management including meetings, travel and conferencesExperience making travel arrangements for executivesExperience with event planning and complex meeting coordinationExperience successfully collaborating with other executive assistants in a team environmentExperience using Adobe Experience using WebEx Careers with Optum.
