The Finance Supervisor (Analyst V Supervisor) position is responsible for management of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology multidisciplinary financial reporting, budget planning and implementation, financial services operations, and sponsored programs and contracts.--Demonstrated ability to administer the financial operations of a very large and complex academic, clinical, and research department. --Supervisory and human resource management experience to effectively and efficiently supervise staff. --Demonstrated experience with budget preparation and management, and budget analysis and forecasting so as to control complex budgets and recognize potential problems. -- Knowledge of federal and grant budgeting, financial reporting and policies regarding use of grant funds -- Demonstrated knowledge and analytical skills to oversee the department's billing and collection activities. --Advanced knowledge and expertise in Excel, especially pivot tables and using various financial information systems and complex spreadsheet. -- Experience using financial information systems such as Kuali, PPS/OPTRS, Decision Support, Outlook, Effort Reporting System and other window-based programs preferred. --Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and writing) skills.
