The Assistant Director, Clinical Practice Organization (CPO) Finance reports to Associate CFO, Clinical Practice Organization. This position has responsibility for the management of the CPO Finance team including coordination of all reporting activities out of the EPSi and other reporting systems including, but not limited to: financial reporting, flex budget reporting, budget development, net revenue reporting, compensation reporting, wRVU, clinic and physician productivity, and other KPI reporting. The Assistant Director, CPO Finance is responsible for the day to day detailed operations of the department and for implementing processes, ensures that all CPO Finance reports are accurate and delivered in a timely manner. Responsible for assigning and allocating resources within the department to achieve operational goals and ensure organizational expectations are met. Performs objective and expert level work in support of efforts to direct the fiscal administration of the Clinical Practice Organization
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five (5) or more years of professional or managerial experience in healthcare financial administration.
Expert working knowledge of physician practice or medical group financial reporting and professional compensation.
Expert knowledge of health care and industry trends, specifically professional services.
Expert knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.
Advanced skill in use of spreadsheet, relational database and worked processing software.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver presentations to a variety of audiences.
Proven analytical skills to identify and comprehend opportunities for financial and operational improvement through data analysis and interpretation.
Masters degree in business or healthcare administration.
Experience in an academic health setting.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
