Saint Ann’s School, an independent, non-sectarian day school enrolling approximately 1085 students in Pre-Kindergarten through High School, is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for their Finance/Human Resource Office.

THE POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant position include the managing of highly confidential data and assisting in the research and preparation of various projects and reports. This individual must be able to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. Specific Administrative Assistant duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Collect, organize and maintain financial aid data
Assist with the organization and maintenance of materials for various meetings
Maintain attendance records, calendars and schedule meetings
Respond to correspondence as directed
Organize and maintain departmental files
Answer phones and greet and direct visitors
Copy, fax, scan, sort and distribute documents
Route and distribute mail
Assist with all communications
Special Projects as directed
The Administrative Assistant position requires a friendly, out-going individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance/CFO. The position requires:
Technical strength in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and to work well in an automated environment
Prior experience working in an office environment a plus
Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively.
High level of organization skills with an attention to detail and deadlines.
Ability to think logically, make decisions and solve problems
A Bachelor’s Degree is required
