The Philadelphia International Airport is seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as Deputy Director of Aviation, Finance (Deputy). The Deputy will be responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in managing all financial and audit matters relating to the PHL and PNE. The Deputy will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to ensure that the airports take all necessary and appropriate actions to balance the Division of Aviation’s financial requirements, keeping the costs of operation at a minimum so as to continue to attract and properly serve the highly cost-conscious airline community, while continuing to invest in airport infrastructure and new initiatives/projects.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent financial, analytical and problem solving skills; strong oral and written presentation skills; exceptional management and leadership skills; strong interpersonal skills, negotiating skills and the ability to interact effectively with city departments, government agencies, and the airport Industry.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is required and Certified Public Accountant designation preferred. Candidate should have five (5) years of experience in an airport environment or five (5) years in a complex high level financial, audit or business management environment.
