Excellent writing and interpersonal communications skills are imperative, as is an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The association utilizes iMIS as its database. Proficiency in working with iMIS is preferred, or proficiency working with another membership database system is desired. Knowledge of the Quickbooks is desired. Proficiency in the suite of Microsoft Office products is essential. Knowledge of SQL is beneficial but not required.
Minimum of three years of professional experience, preferably with a nonprofit association, is essential for success. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is strongly preferred, but consideration will also be given to non-degreed individuals with significant professional experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, current and potential members, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
