DIRECTOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT-LEVERAGE FINANCE / High Yield (HY)
Our client a global growing and successful player in the financial services sector is looking for an individual with strong business development and relationship management skills gained in the Debt Capital Markets space and more specifically within High Yield / Leverage Finance.
You will be responsible for planning, leading and executing the High Yield (HY)/Leverage Finance (LF) business development strategy across EMEA, while working in conjunction with US counterparts
The Business Development team is responsible for generating new business through consistent and targeted activities within the High Yield space
You will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with a focus on developing business in High Yield Bonds and Leveraged Loans.
You will have direct responsibility for leading, developing and executing the business development strategy within EMEA.
An important aspect of the role will be to continue to raise the profile of the business through consistent business development
Key responsibilities will include management of existing relationships and origination of new mandates.
You will help to manage/lead/coach the team as well as liaising with internal colleagues and external market relationships
Current/recent experience of leverage finance / High Yield is essential
Strong contacts within the banking/syndicate community would be preferred
Experience preferably gained within a DCM Sales or Debt Origination background
Strong client facing and relationship management skills
Excellent networking skills and good relationship building skills
