Provide independent credit assessment and identify key credit and non-credit risks related to a specific structured finance transaction, evaluating inputs and results of cash flow models, assessing asset performance and financial strength of asset originators and asset servicers.
Develop a well-informed view of the business and assets being financed/securitized, recommending a credit structure appropriate for the risk profile of the Seller/Servicer and the underlying assets.
Be a Strategic Partner with the Line of Business as they develop new credit products and evaluate new asset classes.
Perform due diligence along with Relationship Manager for both new and existing transaction.
Ensure all credit exposures and deal renewals/amendments are approved in accordance with underwriting Standards and are appropriately risk rated.
Review transaction documentation to ensure terms are appropriate and consistent with credit approval.
University degree, M.B.A. preferred and completion of formal credit training.
Minimum of 10 years' experience with secured lending, structured finance and securitization, prior experience as credit officer or approver preferred.
Proficiency with structured finance products; Experiences with Project Finance is a strong plus.
Proven strong credit and risk analysis skills. Good aptitude and ability to understand elements of complex transaction structure.
Strong collaboration, clear and articulate oral and written communication skills.
Must be motivated and be a strong team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to multitask, work independently or cooperatively and meet deadlines.
Experience within an international financial institution and bilingual Chinese language skill is a strong plus.
