Department of Accounting & Finance, School of Business, St. John Fisher College, Rochester, New York, invites nominations and applications for a full time Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Finance, starting fall 2017.
Accredited by AACSB International, the School of Business at St. John Fisher College offers majors in Marketing, Management, Human Resource Management, Accounting and Finance. There are approximately 720 undergraduates enrolled in these majors and an additional 150 students enrolled in the MBA program. Business faculty are encouraged to teach in both undergraduate and graduate programs. The normal teaching load is three 3-credit courses per semester, with opportunities for summer teaching.

Candidates from all areas of finance are encouraged to apply. Teaching and research topics include, but are not limited to, corporate finance, investments, banking, and personal and behavioral finance. The committee will evaluate the suitability of the candidate based on evidence of teaching effectiveness as well as the dissertation and/or published research in these areas. The successful candidate will teach primarily at the undergraduate level; however, teaching at the graduate level will be encouraged as well.
Faculty in the department carry a three-three teaching load and are expected to show a commitment to teaching. They are also expected to do research and publish, advise students and perform service to the college and the profession.
