Bank of Ireland is one of the more active Lead Arrangers in the European and US leveraged finance markets and we are now looking to strengthen the London team with a Senior Associate.
As a Senior Associate, you will be involved in start-to-end deal execution including the following:
Review, interpret and challenge third party due diligence reports
Evaluation and presentation of credit risk
Effective project management of each deal:
Central coordination and support of deal team
Responsibility for preparation of the credit application including credit paper and financial model
Assist with negotiation of legal documentation including loan agreements and security documentation
Manage junior deal team members and review their work
Coordination of deal completion process and handover to the portfolio team
Proactive networking and relationship building with external advisors and targeted private equity firms
Represent the Bank at customer and advisor meetings
4 years+ post-graduate finance / banking / credit experience preferably in a Leveraged Finance context
Thorough knowledge of accounting / interpretation of accounts
Credit risk evaluation and analytical skills
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Project management experience working within tight deadlines
Selling skills / sales focus
