POSITION The Position The Finance Manager will report to the US-based Assistant Controller and will primarily focus on the financial and regulatory reporting of the EMEA entities of the Wellington Management Group. The individual will: Ensure accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting for all EMEA entitiesEnsure accurate and timely filing of required regulatory reports for all EMEA entitiesLead the ICAAP process for the UK entity including collaboration with Risk Services and Legal and ComplianceManage the required capital requirements to ensure ongoing compliance for all EMEA entitiesStay abreast of regulatory changes that may impact the regulatory reporting or capital requirements for all EMEA entitiesAssist management by providing financial analysis and reporting for ongoing business activitiesParticipate in communications to various internal committees and stakeholders on financial results, initiatives and relevant accounting and regulatory developmentsFacilitate the year end expense and benefits reporting process including liaising with the external service providerServe as the key contact for the execution of the external audits of all EMEA entitiesPartner with other support areas (Real Estate, Information Technology, etc.) to assist in the overall operational support for the EMEA affiliatesProvide support and guidance to the Senior Accountant and the Staff AccountantCollaborate with the Boston based Finance team to ensure the financial reporting needs are met in an effective and efficient manner Qualifications The successful candidate will have relevant experience in either public accounting and/or the asset management industry. An undergraduate degree and Chartered Accountant qualification is required.
