Seeking a Director of Finance to plan and oversee the non-profit health organization’s overall financial policies and fiscal operations in order to maintain the organization’s financial health, achieve its financial goals and ensure compliance with all contractual requirements.
As a member of the Leadership Team and reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Finance will strategically lead the organization’s financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury.
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Healthcare Administration, or other related field, and
Senior leader with at least ten (10) years of proven experience in managing complex organizational finances; minimum three (3) years executive level employment with autonomous responsibilities and staff management, or
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
Non-profit healthcare and FQHC experience, including working with third party payors highly desirable.
Experience with healthcare operations’ revenue cycle strongly preferred
Must be bondable
Proven track record of exceeding goals and a bottom-line orientation
Evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment
High level of business acumen including successful P&L management; the ability to balance the delivery of programs against the realities of a budget; problem solving, project management, and creative resourcefulness
Demonstrated financial stewardship upholding generally accepted accounting principles, practices, processes and procedures
Prior experience with oversight of audit processes and procedures
