This position oversees our client performance measurement system, as well as the financial and tax reporting of a number of investment and affiliate companies; provides key reports to our clients such as investment performance, benchmarking and asset allocation; conducts research and provides analysis with state and federal tax planning issues; interacts with professionals from a variety of disciplines, including financial advisers, accountants, business leaders, auditors, and attorneys; manages private equity valuations and coordination of third-party accounting; prepares GAAP financial statements and coordinates the auditing thereof.

This is an ideal position for a CPA wanting to move out of public accounting to learn and apply Finance to a variety of situations. A CPA who aspires to become a CFA Charterholder may be well-suited for this position (or a candidate that currently is a CFA Charterholder who meets the position requirements). Two members of our Firm's Executive Committee are CFA Charterholders.
