JOB DESCRIPTION: We seek candidates who will produce high quality finance research and who will advance the teaching mission and intellectual environment of the school. We are especially interested in candidates with teaching and research experience in investments, asset pricing, and capital markets.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: For appointment at the Assistant Professor level, applicants must have completed or nearly completed their Ph.D. degree and must have clear potential for excellence in research and teaching. For appointment at the tenured Associate or Full Professor level, must have a Ph.D degree and a strong established record in both research and teaching.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE SCHOOL: The McIntire School of Commerce is the University of Virginia's undergraduate business school and graduate business school for Masters in Commerce, Accounting, and the Management of Information Technology. McIntire is recognized for excellence and innovation in business education as well as for its scholarship.
