The Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is the senior financial executive at Saint Anthony's Hospital (Entity) with oversight of the Mountain/North Denver Operating Group (MNDOG). Hospitals in this operating group include St. Anthony's-Lakewood; St. Anthony North/Westminster; St. Anthony Summit Medical Center/Frisco; Longmont United Hospital/Longmont; Avista Adventist Hospital/Louisville; OrthoColorado/Lakewood; and other affiliated hospitals in the mountain tier.
The Group CFO is the group's strategic financial executive responsible for assisting the Group President in compiling an integrated financial and strategic plan in conjunction with the Group Chief Strategy Office/Business Development executive.
The CFO is a part of the Entity senior management team, and provides financial leadership, analysis, and operational support to all levels of management. The MNDOG CFO participates in the Centura Finance Council which has responsibility to set overall financial policies and procedures for Centura. The MNDOG CFO is responsible for those accounting and finance functions delegated to the Group and Entity.
To provide executive oversight, vision, and support for the accounting and finance institutions of the Entity (Accounting, Budget, Decision Support, Medical Records, Reimbursement/Contract Compliance, Audit, Business Office, Registration, Patient Accounts, System-wide Compliance, and Materials Management). To coordinate the calendar and fiscal year budgeting process for Centura Health and the Adventist Health system within the region. To monitor and control the assets, commitments of the Hospital, Medical Center and other affiliates. To provide technical and managerial support to the Group CEO in the financial, planning and strategic management of the institution and group.
Masters Degree - Business Administration or Finance preferred. Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
A.B.S. (or equivalent) degree in accounting or finance; CPA and MBA is preferred
Minimum ten (10) years progressive health care, financial management and/or accounting experience at the leadership/executive level required.
Five (5) years of financial management direct experience with the Catholic Health Initiatives System financial systems and processes. Ability to provide assistance, analysis, recommendations for improvement, budgeting assistance, and other educational assistance to Entity senior management and department directors.
