As part of the Investment Finance team based in Singapore, you will be responsible for originating and structuring of commercial and residential real estate lending and credit solutions for private bank's ultra-high net worth clients. The incumbent will work closely with private bankers in making joint calls with clients, assess clients' financial strength / resources to structure appropriate financing solutions for the clients.
The ideal candidate for the Real Estate Transactor team will be an outstanding individual with a proven track record in originating, structuring and closing complex real estate financing transactions in challenging environments. The incumbent is enterprising, results-oriented, resourceful and highly engaged. He/she is a catalyst for innovative financing solutions and seeks to engage different stakeholders in the end-to-end process of the deal transaction, with a particular emphasis on combining knowledge of real estate rules and regulations in multiple geographies across Asia with knowledge and experience in applying real estate financing skills across these jurisdictions for our clients.
The incumbent will work with Credit Risk Portfolio Managers on new and existing credit applications. He/She is also responsible for ensuring appropriate governance and control environment is in place, taking into account legal, regulatory, audit and compliance considerations.
University graduate with at least 10 years of experience in either Private Banking, Markets, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and/or Risk Management
Client-focused with excellent marketing and client relationship management skills - an Originator
Comprehensive understanding of commercial and residential real estate lending / other collateralized lending - a Structurer
Knowledge of other collateralized lending, FX and derivative products plus experience in private or corporate lending or risk management will be a definite added advantage
Solid grasp of, and a history in, financial and credit analysis (although this role is a marketing one, the candidate will need to be good in strategic risk identification and mitigation)
Knowledgeable about compliance and requirements of Regulatory Authorities with particular emphasis on real estate rules and regulations
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels, both with the client and within the bank
Achievement oriented with multi-year track record of closing transactions successfully and achieving revenue goals
