The Senior Director for Finance and Administration provides leadership for a team that oversees budgeting, workplan, financial, and cost recovery modelling, procurement, accounting, and talent management. In addition, the Senior Director for Finance & Administration also serves on the CIO leadership team to provide strategic administrative planning and budgeting for the success of the department of Information Technology Services.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least six years of experience in accounting or finance with progressive responsibility
At least three years supervisory experience
Experience with contracts and procurement processes for technology or similar services
Master’s degree in Business Administration or other field that includes aspects of accounting, finance, organizational design, leadership, and other business practices from an accredited institution of higher education
Certification as Certified Public Accountant
Demonstrated experience building a positive team culture for a staff of six or more that excels in delivering excellent and efficient services
Demonstrated experience leading change to business practices that improve efficiency and effectiveness to the administrative functions of an organization
Demonstrated experience building financial and cost recovery models for information technology or similar services
Training, certification, or other experience with talent management
Experience working in higher education
