Client is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented finance professional with extensive experience in leading corporate finance and transaction services. The candidate must have a proven track record of leading a large finance team in a busy global environment and being highly adaptable to deal with diverse business needs.
Reporting to the Finance Director in conjunction with the Global Director of Operations; this role will be responsible for the following duties:
Participate and oversee a team that will manage the global centre of excellence function in relation to planning, forecasting and budgeting.
Report and analyse on the centre of excellence function (over multi locations) to the key stakeholders.
Develop and refine management reporting including key metrics and enhanced business analysis.
Build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
Manage strategic projects as they arise.
Lead and develop the local corporate and shared service finance team.
Implement new processes and procedures and ensure adherence with group policies.
Enhance the control environment and streamline standard best practice within the entire team.
Supervise the preparation of the various financial statements and audits (internal and external).
Oversee the annual tax process for the local legal entity.
Education, qualification and experience:
· Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, economics or other relevant professional designation
· At least 10 years of experience of Finance and Accounting with high volume operational environment
· A minimum of 5 years' experience in finance management in a large corporate business
· Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
· Strong people/teamwork skills
· Client Service skills
