Under general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the incumbent has direct responsibility for administering the budget and finances for Facilities Management Trades and Shop Stores recharge units as well as the service blanket billing for full cost recovery from auxiliary units and sundry debtors. Responsibilities include: (1) developing budget plans based on historical data and unit goals and objectives, (2) monitoring and auditing multiple fund resources, (3) projecting, controlling, and monitoring personnel and operating expenses (4) and creating a seamless organization between purchasing, billing, and Shop Stores that has strong communication and information sharing to improve workflow and delivery of quality service. Develops, analyzes, and summarizes automated reports for management including, historical data comparison, budget planning and projections, equipment depreciation schedules, equipment inventories, salary savings, and annual financial reports. Develops, recommends, and implements policy, procedure, and guidelines to support accounting and purchasing functions.
