Senior Financial Analyst – Research Finance - Orlando
Florida Hospital Orlando seeks to hire Senior Financial Analyst who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

The Senior Financial Analyst interacts with senior management and department directors to provide relevant, accurate, and timely financial information. Performs research, collects data, and skillfully organizes and presents the analysis to management in written or oral format. Exercises objective, independent judgement in developing financial recommendations for management. Serves as a liaison to department directors in financial matters. Develops and trains staff in analyzing and organizing information into a coherent report, and to recommend and implement solutions based on this analysis; subject to the approval of management. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Ability to coordinate projects related to developing financial information for decision making
Ability to work in a project oriented environment with people of various backgrounds
Computer skills including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment to meet deadlines
Ability to present information to all levels of management
Ability to relate operational and financial performance in the healthcare environment
Strong interpersonal and managerial skills
Ability to exercise objective judgement in critical thinking skills
Working knowledge of healthcare accounting methods and reporting, standards development, costing methodologies, utilization measurements and financial modeling
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with intermediate accounting and upper level finance coursework
Minimum two years of experience in healthcare finance/accounting or a related field with specific emphasis on accounting practice, cost accounting, statistical analysis, budgeting, management decision making, reporting, or financial modeling
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) (Preferred)

Communicates in a positive manner and presents effectively with directors, vice president, customers, and co-workers both orally and verbally.
Effectively manages projects or maintains awareness of project status and anticipates potential roadblocks that may be encountered. Takes corrective action so projects are completed on time.
Works effectively with numerical data and has an understanding of financial principles and concerns in the healthcare environment.
Utilizes critical and analytical thinking skills and proficiency in software tools, used in job functions, in the coordination of key project.
Perform other duties/projects as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
