Under general direction of the Department Administrator incumbent has responsibility for analysis, review, direction, and monitoring of federal contracts and grants, private gifts and grants, opportunity funds, Chancellor's funds, training grants, and set-up funds. Incumbent is responsible for oversight of contract & grant post-award operations, including bookkeeping and accounting, purchasing, and all related functions. Ensures that departmental processes conform to University policies and procedures and agency and CAS guidelines. Oversees the financial team. Develops, and maintains internal financial reports as needed. Provides staff training of systems of accounting and/or data management systems to support the above operations, and is relied upon to provide high-level analysis and recommendations to the Department Administrator regarding all aspects of the financial operations of the unit. The incumbent is responsible for management and coordination of all day-to-day activities for the Chair of the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior.

Salary: Annual $59,623.00 - $81,070.00 Total Hours: 8-5, M-F Career Position. Final candidate subject to background check.
