In this Infrastructure Business/Finance Analyst role, the new hire will be part of a Business Operations Controls team, leveraging IT Infrastructure, systems design, business process, product design along with financial acumen and accounting responsibility to determine pricing models, performance to budget, and general segment financial health. The new hire will be primarily focused on developing the pricing and cost models for several enterprise data platform products and systems (analytics systems, Big Data, etc.). Additional responsibilities will be to analyze and create CBAs for IT Optimization Programs, track financial performance with those models and making adjustments as necessary to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual financial goals. In a given day you might work on pulling and analyzing reports, developing and analyzing pricing or cost models, managing infrastructure costs, PLM or anything in-between. As a part of a product team, you will be instrumental in steering the direction of the product, from directing infrastructure decisions to exploring financial models that might better fit our needs. Responsibilities will extend across multiple products and data services. Required Qualifications:4+ years of business systems analysis 5+ years in a finance and/or accounting role within a large and complex IT organization Prior Technology Management / Infrastructure Configuration ManagementPreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree which includes financial management or business controls HW/SW Infrastructure Pricing Experience in Cost-Based and Value-Based Pricing Models / Cost Modeling Resource management including staff planning, cost management, and offshore integration Prior experience in UHG working through processes surrounding capital requests, program funding, and financial managementTechnology Careers with Optum.
