The Corporate Strategy & Development team appraise, communicate and implement a variety of strategic initiatives with the sole purpose of facilitating business growth. The team enjoys direct communication channels with both C-suite executives and shareholders. As a result, candidates are afforded significant responsibility to shape the strategy of the group. Reporting into the head of the team, as a Senior Analyst the main responsibilities will include providing executive management with detailed, accurate analysis on the group's performance across different business lines, including ad hoc commercial analysis. Monthly updates to the Board of Directors and providing support to the budgeting and forecasting processes will also be a part of this role. You will undertake all due diligence, valuation modelling, document drafting etc. on prospective M&A targets as well as assisting with the integration strategy. You will have responsibility for day-to-day workstreams associated with new asset classes, products, geographies, and capital raising activities too.
The successful candidate will be a finance professional with a high quality academic background and a proven track record of achievement. We are looking for someone with circa 3 years' experience in a Transaction Services team in a top 10 professional services firm with Financial Services clients; or you will be a FIG M&A banker with similar time experience. You will also be able to work independently and have the confidence to communicate in a succinct manner with senior executives.
