Previous candidates need not re apply to be considered.Under the direction of the Director of Finance, the incumbant serves as Senior Financial Analyst for the School of Law. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial and administrative management of federal and private contracts and grants as well as other extramural and state funds that support various research and instructional programs within the School of Law. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing specific direction to faculty and staff to assure compliance with recent revisions to contract and grant costing principals. As part of the School's Finance Team, the Senior Financial Analyst has independent decision making authority, policy analysis and interpretation and independent problem solving responsibilities that requires on-going interaction with all levels of the University as well as School of Law faculty and staff. Independently provides high-level analytical and financial management services to develop budgets, prepare reports, perform trend analysis and projections, forecast expenses, review financial transactions, resolve time-sensitive issues and train staff.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
