Additionally, this person will be tasked with special projects and will work closely with colleagues in the following areas, SEC financial reporting; State and local tax, Payroll, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Revenue Recognition. Primary Responsibilities:Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare third-party software vendor fee calculations Manage Washington State sales tax reporting and other miscellaneous state and local tax returns Run revenue recognition reports and prepare revenue close journal entries Maintain internal developed capitalized software reconciliation, rollforward, and analysis Prepare monthly incentive expense calculation and quarterly audit proof Assist in preparation of corporate consolidated financial statements Assist in creation of supporting documents for Company's SEC filings Provide support to Financial Planning and Analysis team during monthly preparation of analysis of budget to actual results Interface with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audit Other miscellaneous Finance projects as necessary
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of accounting work experience Experience with Microsoft Office, spreadsheet, and database applicationsPreferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and promptly via phone and email with internal and external customers Experience with spreadsheet and database applications Professional License (CPA)Careers with Optum.
