PHX is a start-up environment requiring a candidate with excellent project management, organization and communication skills; able to meet deadlines and assist in managing deadlines for the office; have finance and budget experience, experience in the Office suite of programs, especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint (Access would be helpful but not necessary), grants management, coordinating resources and managing scope, timeline and deliverables, while ensuring the highest quality of service and work products. And, be flexible as we both grow the PHX platform and become engaged in more collaborative activities. Must be willing to work outside of regular business hours for key PHX commitments
Ability to meet deadlines, excellent budget and organizational skills, and strong attention to detail are a must.
Excellent computer skills including Excel proficiency and an aptitude for learning new programs and skills (i.e., data querying)
Excellent customer service attitude and good communication skills are essential.
Strong written and oral communication skills required. 5 years experience in high profile, high level office administration and finance, customer service, communications all utilizing an advanced level of financial, organizational and customer service skills
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, financial management and reporting, working with vendors on contract negotiation and management, excellent record keeping and tracking
Experience with diverse and international programs and program management.
Comfortable working within a start-up environment.
Flexible and able to work evening and weekend hours as necessary in order to meet the needs of this position; may also involve some travel.
As a core team member, must be target-driven and achievement oriented hands-on can do style.
