The CFO provides strategic and managerial leadership working collaboratively and creatively with colleagues across the school, ensuring that faculty, staff and programs have ample resources at their disposal, that current and future projects are well-funded and well-managed, and Beauvoir’s current resources and future financial sustainability are responsibly managed.
The CFO is responsible for all business aspects of the school, including finance, accounting, budgeting, investments, facilities, security, human resources, capital projects and other assigned functions. In particular, the CFO will focus on strategic and financial planning, maintaining fiscal discipline; oversight of capital projects; initiating, and ensuring that financial resources such as endowment, cash and debt are properly administered.
Represents the School to and coordinates with the Foundation staff and trustee committees; serves on the inter-institutional Operations Committee.
Supports Governing Board Committees including the Finance Committee, the Building & Grounds Committee and the Investment Subcommittee.
Oversees day to day facilities operations including custodial services, repairs and maintenance of the school facilities, energy and safety.
Manages third parties including food services, facilities, design and construction and/or others as required.
Coordinates with Foundation Shared Services including facilities, grounds, finance, human resources and Police.

At least ten years of financial leadership in a school, nonprofit or similar environment.
Advanced degree in business administration or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
Experience in facilities management, construction or related disciplines a plus.
Strong analytical capabilities
Compatibility with the School’s values, culture, and current administration and faculty are a must.
