The College of Business at Ohio University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance (one-year appointment). Appointments begin August 2018. Salaries for the one-year appointment are competitive commensurate with either ABD status or Ph.D. completed.
The Finance Department offers excellent research resources and support in addition to a variety of teaching opportunities. Ohio University has WRDS access to CRSP, Compustat, OptionMetrics, and Execucomp as well as access to SDC M&A, Thomson Reuters Analyst Reports, Bloomberg, Factset, and Morningstar. Our faculty has published in Journal of Finance, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analyses, Financial Management, Journal of Banking & Finance, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Corporate Finance, Review of Asset Pricing Studies, Journal of Futures Markets, and The Financial Review.
