The National Academy of Social Insurance is seeking a part-time individual to serve as its Finance Assistant.
The Finance Assistant will manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, reporting and analysis, filing and other tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant. The Finance Assistant will also provide support with maintaining up-to-date membership records, invoicing, and other tasks assigned by the Director of Member Relations.
Our Ideal Candidate:
1+ year of accounting/administrative experience; preferably for a nonprofit organization
Bachelor’s degree (or coursework) preferred
Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software strongly preferred
Adeptness in Excel strongly preferred
CRM or working experience with membership organizations strongly preferred
Highly organized, with sharp attention to detail
Ability to work independently, anticipate issues and prioritize assignments
Flexibility to adapt to changing systems and processes
Additional Salary Information: Additional compensation negotiable after July 1st
