Serves as a team leader for the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) Financial Service Center; manages and leads a team of procurement and travel processing staff; in conjunction with the Business Manager, leads the team in developing and implementing improvements to internal procedures; manages workflow to provide a high level of customer service, accuracy, and efficiency to college/unit faculty and staff; ensures compliance with University established policies and procedures; performs compliance reviews for transactions and is responsible for system approvals for appropriate transactions; ensures supporting documentation conforms to University and college/unit guidelines and polices; works closely with department Finance Officers/Managers to resolve transaction issues.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience; five or more years of experience in a supervisory role; experience with general ledger and ancillary software systems; experience and skills in change management, including adapting and improving business processes; strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Experience in a higher education/university setting using general ledger and ancillary systems; considerable knowledge of university policies and procedures.
Target Salary: $60,000.00 - $65,004.00 Annually
