JOB BACKGROUND / BUSINESS CONTEXT
This role is based at Singapore and is responsible for Product Management for the Trade Finance (TF) business of Citi in the ASEAN region, which comprises financing of open-account trade flows including Import and Export Financing, Receivables Financing and Portfolio Financing solutions (Distribution Finance and Credit Insured Receivables Financing).

Singapore is a regional hub for regional headquarters and treasury operations of multinationals and top tier local corporates and financial institutions. The TTS Singapore business is a leading franchise in Citi and the industry, serving these clients within Singapore and broader Asia.
This role reports to the Trade Head for ASEAN, with a matrix reporting to the Trade Finance Head for Asia.
DESCRIPTION / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the TF Product Programs in each of the ASEAN countries, to ensure that these are maintained and updated in a timely manner in accordance with Global Product Program and local regulatory and legal requirements, working directly with key stakeholders (Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations).
P&L responsibility for TF product across ASEAN, with responsibility for growth and profitability of TF in the region.
Defining product and pricing strategy towards meeting goals
Presenting and obtaining internal approvals for all new and renewal TF transactions in ASEAN
Working closely with Sales, Market Managers and Relationship Managers to drive origination momentum for new TF deals as well as to grow utilization of existing TF programs
Implementing ASEAN-wide TF product initiatives, including technology platforms.
Ongoing responsibility for management controls for TF product in ASEAN to ensure adherence with product programs and global product standards.
Seeking well rounded bankers with 5+ years relevant experience in multi-national banks.
Prior Trade experience (product management or structuring) would be a strong positive, preferably in the ASEAN region.
