Candidates for this position should have substantial experience in the business management/finance function of an educational institution, non-profit organization, or private industry. In particular, candidates will need to have demonstrated: • A track record in budgeting and long-range financial planning • Success in managing a collaborative team • A strong background in annual, capital, and endowment fund accounting • Technical competency in not-for-profit accounting, taxation, regulation, and compliance • The capacity to explore trends, both within an organization and in the broader context • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • The ability to use, learn, and evaluate financial software systems An MBA, CPA, or other similar advanced degree is preferred.
