This position serves as the School of International Service's primary liaison to University administrative offices on all financial and staff personnel matters. Specific responsibilities include communicating any changes in university policy or procedures to the School's leadership and community, as well as creating, implementing and communicating operational procedures to ensure compliance. The Senior Director manages a team of staff to ensure budget, human resources, and other financial transactions are processed in a timely manner, and produce accurate and reliable financial and budgetary reports. The Senior Director is responsible for grants and endowment administration, as well as enrollment budget and revenue forecasting and strategic planning. The Senior Director oversees technology services and building management, including the operation of the SIS Hub and Davenport Coffee Lounge. This position serves as the Dean’s senior advisor for all financial and staff personnel matters and is a member of the School's leadership team.

Master’s degree is required.
Eight to ten years of progressive experience in budgeting and accounting in an educational institution, or equivalent in education, training and experience
Evidence of supervisory experience
Demonstrated experience in managing multi-million dollar budgets and strong knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles
Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to establish and implement strategic priorities in a dynamic and high pressure environment
Familiarity with a university environment, including knowledge of the organizational structure of universities and/or non-profit organizations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; analytical, financial, organizational and problem-solving ability; and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented work environment
The position requires leadership, self-direction, independent judgment, and the ability to excel in a multicultural environment
