The University of Wisconsin-Parkside invites applications for the position of Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration.
The Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration provides direction and leadership of Finance and Administration, which includes Business Services, Human Resources, Police and Public Safety, Facilities Management, Risk Management, and Campus Planning. The position also serves as the Chief Business Officer of the University with budgetary responsibilities including oversight of a $100 million operating budget. The Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration reports directly to the Chancellor and provides information and direction to the Chancellor, Provost, members of the Leadership team, the Deans’ and Division Officers on matters relating to finance/budgeting, administration, construction/ facilities and campus master planning.
Master’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a closely-related field
At least seven years of progressively responsible managerial experience in a complex organization
Demonstrated “hands on” experience in capital planning, financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, and financial controls
Demonstrated experience in institutional master planning and strategic planning
Demonstrated experience with current and emerging technologies and/or tools to support areas such as: financial planning, reporting and budgeting
Demonstrated leadership and involvement in planning and overseeing major construction and development projects in facilities and construction management
Higher education experience
Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) certification
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
