Job Summary & Responsibilities ? Understand capital regime implications and translate these considerations to develop intelligent applications that help to make the analysis of capital impact more accurate, transparent, and timely. ? Partner with the rest of the Technology and Strats organization to leverage our deep technical intellectual property and products from across the Firm to enhance control while also delivering best-of-breed commercial-quality enterprise applications for purpose of capital measurement and analytics. ? Directly interface with the Business and our Federation partners in Finance and Risk. ? Be hands-on and take ownership of issues to ensure follow-through. ? Have strong communication skills and feel comfortable working in a global team that both welcomes and challenges new ideas. ? Experience of technical mentoring of more junior developers. ? Improve current processes and develop creative solutions that are grounded in reality and have practical value.
Basic Qualifications ? Strong interest in developing and delivering commercial-level solutions in rapid cycles. ? Excellent academic background in quantitative fields Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. ? Experience with functional and/or object-oriented programming. ? Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications ? Knowledge of capital analytics and balance sheet management (e.g. CCAR) is a plus. ? Experience with service-oriented software architecture is a plus. ? Enjoys R&D and comfortable with working in highly dynamic and rapid development environment.
